We’ve all seen tons of fashion photography combined with landscapes. Like an animal pattern dress in a rainforest, a bright one piece in the Sahara or some girls in bikini standing on a rock by the sea.
Landscape photography? They are good, but gradually people get tired of it. However, there are always some talented individuals willing to bring something fresh to the scene. Sanja Marusic, a young photographer from Amsterdam, uses her surrealistic ideas to represent these garbs and figures under the sun.
She was born in 1991, became obsessed with photography in her childhood and later graduated from KABK. At a young age her works were already published by Elle, Dutch i-D, the New York Times and dozens of other world famous media outlets, she also started her own studio and has continued to push the boundaries of traditional fashion photography.
Compared to regular landscape photography, Sanja creates her own otherworldly images by using Photoshop intelligently, altering normal landscapes to recreate scenes that seem out of this world.
