Many brands have collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, including Steiff, Tokidoki, Shu Uemura and Vilebrequin, now the fashion legend is teaming up with Vans. A footwear and apparel capsule collection is expected to be launched worldwide on Sept. 7. This collaboration launches eight months after LV x SUPREME which proves how obsessed high fashion is with skate-wear.

We’re all excited to see what the collection has to offer even though there are no photos yet, the two brands promise a fusing of the two brands’ signature. What does that mean?

Well, imagine Karl Lagerfeld’s side profile, quilted-leather K motifs and textured fabrics mixed with Vans’ hallmark checkered pattern. Leather Slip-on, lace-less iterations of Vans’ Sk8-Hi and the beloved black and white sneakers – old school…yes, please! Backpacks, bomber jackets, and a graphic tee with an image of Karl Lagerfeld wearing a checkerboard tie are also included in the two-toned, black-and-white capsule.

The capsule collection will be available on both of the brands’ online shops and in-store at select Karl Lagerfeld and Vans accounts, as well as presented in Berlin at the Bread & Butter trade show in early Sept. and the prices range from $40 – $300.
